The grace with which Anil Kapoor has accepted being replaced in the upcoming sequels of both "Welcome" and "No Entry" is simply sublime, for he believes it to be the plan of God. He said this in an interview to PTI: "Whatever God does, it's for the best. I feel if you are replaced in a film, then you will get something better and this is what has happened with me.".
On the reports of any discord with his brother, producer Boney Kapoor, Anil spoke very graciously, touting the need to keep personal matters within one's self. He said, "See, one should keep household matters private and not discuss them on the streets. 'Dignity issi mein hai', that's what I believe."
One of the leads in the original "No Entry" and "Welcome" films, Anil Kapoor confessed to missing out on these sequels, besides several other lost opportunities in his career. He, however, has remained philosophical about such happenings.
Boney Kapoor had said earlier that "No Entry" sequel would star Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor, and the franchise was going in an entirely different direction. Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, who were pivotal in "Welcome", would not make an appearance in the latest installment titled "Welcome to the Jungle".
Anil Kapoor is pretty active on the scene of entertainment and is currently anchoring the show "Bigg Boss OTT 3", which began streaming recently on JioCinema.
