Ananya Panday Honors Lord Shiva on the Fourth 'Shravan Somvaar

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday took the blessings of Lord Shiva on the fourth 'Shravan Somvaar.'

Ananya shared the devotional moment across her Instagram handle by posting a picture of herself enshrined beside a Shiva Linga, gorgeously adorned with flowers. In the image, she sat with folded hands, looking reverent. She also posted a close-up shot of the Shiva Linga and captioned it simply as "Shravan Somvaar."

August 12 was the fourth Monday of the holy Shravan month, which is very special to Lord Shiva devotees. Many observe Shravan Somwar Vrat—fasting to invoke divine blessings.

Ananya made her foray into films in 2019 with "Student of the Year 2" and has been a part of some really significant films since then, including "Pati Patni Aur Woh," a remake of the classic released in 1978, "Khaali Peeli," "Gehraiyaan," "Liger," "Dream Girl 2," and finally, "Kho Gaye Hum Kahan."

She will next be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane's cyber thriller, "CTRL", where she plays a content creator. That makes it her second film that features t he digital world after 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.' It also stars Vihaan Samat as the other lead, with both playing a couple who create content for social media together.

Apart from this, Ananya will be featured in the web series "Call Me Bae," in which the basic plot is that Bae is a billionaire fashionista who gets estranged from her wealthy family due to some scandal.

The actress had recently shared a video of herself back Sunday where she could be seen getting all strong as she lifted 120 kg at the gym. She wrote in the caption of the clip, "120 kg weeeeeee. What doesn't kill you makes you you" along with a biceps emoji.
