Now, social media sensation Uorfi Javed is all geared up with a new show that is ready to release on OTT platforms this 23rd of August. The unscripted nine-episode series, titled Follow Kar Lo Yaar, talks about her life beyond the digital sphere.
It tries to unravel the mystery behind Uorfi Javed, a celebrity who evokes extreme admiration and criticism but who is impossible to ignore.
The show will talk about the different aspects of life that Uorfi has in great detail: personal struggles, rise to fame, relenting grind to reaching success, and complex family dynamics.
According to Nikhil Madhok, who leads Originals at Prime Video India, "Stories of perseverance and passion always leave audiences in awe, and Uorfi's journey from any other girl in Lucknow to a national sensation is incredibly inspiring."
He further added, "Hers is the story of a woman who, driven by her never-ending zeal, endeavored to carve out a unique spot in the arena of fashion and entertainment. Its producers, Sol Productions' Fazila Allana and Kamna Menezes, along with in-house director Sandeep Kukreja, dropped a special video on Saturday where Uorfi talks about the pressure of being amidst the constant scrutiny of social media, handling detractors, and how she manages to keep her family content.
Follow Kar Lo Yaar, produced by Sol Productions is set for release on Prime Video from August 23.
