Following the recent unveiling of a poster featuring Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, the creators of the highly anticipated mythology sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD' have released a captivating new video asset. This special video offers audiences a glimpse into Bachchan's character, who portrays Ashwatthama in the film.
The video premiere took place in Nemawar, Madhya Pradesh, alongside an exclusive preview on Star Sports during the ongoing IPL 2024 season. A remarkable aspect of the video is its inclusion of multiple Indian languages, with Bachchan delivering his lines in Hindi while interacting with a child who speaks Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
In the video, Bachchan's Ashwatthama, cloaked in bandages and bearing wounds, including one from a gunshot, engages in a conversation with the curious child. He cryptically hints to the child that his destiny is intertwined with a forthcoming ultimate battle.
Apart from Bachchan, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film garnered widespread attention following its groundbreaking debut at San Diego Comic-Con last year.
