Alia Bhatt Shares a Glimpse of Her 'Pool Boot Camp' with Ishaan Mehra

Actress Alia Bhatt recently posted about what began as a gloomy Monday but soon became vibrant with a refreshing pool boot camp session.

On the career side, Alia is preparing for the role in the next all-female spy thriller Alpha.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha will be the seventh film in Yash Raj Films' expanding spy universe. The franchise started with the Tiger series starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, with Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, the expansion of the universe through War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, with upcoming films including War 2 (directed by Ayan Mukerji), Pathaan 2, and Tiger vs. Pathaan.

On October 4, the makers announced that Alpha will release on Christmas Day, December 25.

In Alpha, Alia stars alongside Sharvari, both portraying elite super agents.

Additionally, Alia has another high-profile project lined up—Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, which features her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This marks her second collaboration with Bhansali, following their critically acclaimed 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Love and War was announced officially in January 2024 on an Instagram post that read, "We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga Love & War. See you at the movies."

The movie also reunites Alia with Vicky Kaushal after they were paired in the 2018 spy thriller Raazi.

Earlier this month, Alia also made time to pay tribute to the efforts and sacrifices of Indian troops and their families, singling out especially for praise the mothers who brought up these war heroes.
