In the caption, Akshay Kumar expressed his excitement about the project. He further said, 'This is the story of one man who dared to dream big. This role; this film is an extraordinary chance for me.' The trailer of 'Sarfira' is all set to release on the 18th of June, and the movie hits the theaters on 12 July.

Directed by National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, 'Sarfira' is an inspiring drama set in the worlds of start-ups and aviation. Besides Akshay Kumar, the movie has Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in important roles.

The Hindi remake of the Tamil hit, directed by Sudha Kongara, 'Soorarai Pottru' starred Suriya and Aparna Balamurali. 'Sarfira' takes inspiration from the life of G. R. Gopinath, founder India's lowcost airline Simplifly Deccan.

The screenplay for 'Sarfira' is by Sudha Kongara and Shalini Ushadevi, with the dialogues being written by Pooja Tolani. The film has been produced by Aruna Bhatia for Cape of Good Films, Suriya and Jyotika for 2D Entertainment, and Vikram Malhotra for Abundantia Entertainment.

'Sarfira' will hit the silver screen on July 12 and is being highly anticipated as a great blend of an engrossing storyline along with some electrifying performances.
