Akshay Kumar Responds to Box Office Criticism: 'I'm Still Here, Not Dead'

Kumar's recent films, including "Sarfira," "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," "Mission Raniganj," "Selfiee," "Raksha Bandhan," "Samrat Prithviraj," and "Bachchhan Pandey," have not achieved commercial success. However, Kumar remained positive, stating that he doesn't dwell on these failures. “Things happen for a reason. I’ve had a few films not perform well, and yet I receive numerous supportive messages from fans. It’s as if they’re sending me condolences. One journalist even said, ‘You’ll be back.’ I had to call him to ask what he meant by ‘back’ because I’m still here,” Kumar shared with reporters during the trailer launch of his new film, "Khel Khel Mein."

Akshay Kumar addressed the recent underperformance of his films at the box office, dismissing the notion that his career is over due to a few flops. The actor, who has been a staple in the industry for over thirty years, expressed that he remains unfazed by such criticisms and will persist in his hard work.
