Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has showered praises for the hard work of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the impressive arrangements at the Mahakumbh Mela on Monday, post taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj.
While commenting in a video posted by news agency PTI, Akshay praised the UP Police and the laborers for their "amazing" efforts to hold the event.
Looking back on his last visit to the Mahakumbh Mela in 2019, Akshay observed the huge improvements made in the arrangements this year. He said, "Bohut hi maza aaya, bohut badiya intezaam hai. Hum yaha ke CM Yogi sahab ka bohut bohut dhanyawaad karte hai ki itna accha intezaam kar rakkha hai. Mujhe abhi bhi yaad 2019 mein jab pichla kumbh hua tha, toh log gathri leke aate the (I enjoyed a lot, arrangements were great. I want to thank UP CM Yogi Adityanath for such good arrangements. In 2019, when the last Kumbh happened, people used to come with bundles)."
He also added, "Ab is time toh all bade bade log aarhe hai Ambani, Adani, bade bade actors aarhe hai sab aapki taraf aa rahe hai. Is Mahakumbh ka intezaam kyun aisa kiya hai, yeh boht hi acchi hai. Main saare hi jite ne bhi police waale hai, jite ne bhi workers hai jinhone sabka is tarah ka dhayaan rakha hai, unka haath jodek boht boht dhayawaad karna chahta hoon (This time, people like Ambani, Adani, and actors are coming. The way they've organized the Mahakumbh is really impressive. I want to express my sincere thanks to the police and the workers who have taken care of everyone)."
