Admit cards issued for CUET 2nd phase exam

This year it has been made mandatory to clear the CUET exam for seeking admission in colleges affiliated to central universities. All central universities such as Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University have been included in this programme.
NIRF Rankings 2022: Top 10 research institutes in India

According to the rankings while IISC Bengaluru bagged the top place as the number one research institute in India, IIT Madras and IIT Delhi named as top 2 and top 3 in the list. This year, IIT Delhi has replaced IIT Bombay to grab the third rank. Here is the complete list of top 10 research institutes in India, as per the NIRF rankings 2022. The NIRF 2022 has released its ranking for rating higher educational institutions across the country.

The registration process is scheduled to begin from August 3 to September 14. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website from October 27. The CAT 2022 exam will be conducted in centres spread across 150 test cities. The registration fee for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category will be Rs 1150 while it is Rs 2300 for other categories of candidates. According to the schedule, the CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January, 2023.

JEE Advanced 2022 exam is scheduled to take place  on August 28; paper one will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while paper two from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. However, the admit card for the exam will be issued on August 23 and the candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website- jeeadv.ac.in till August 28.
NIRF Rankings 2022: Top 10 colleges in India

This includes overall, university, management, college, pharmacy, medical, engineering, architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), law and research institutions. The Previous year, 6272 higher education institutions participated in the NIRF rankings, which gradually increased to 7254 institutions, this year. According to the rankings, this year, five colleges of the Delhi University (DU) have dominated the list of top 10 colleges in India.

State Minister for Skill Development and Technical Education Pritiranjan Ghadai, announced the result. The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2022 was conducted from July 4 to July 8 for 12 vocational courses. The OJEE 2022 exam is a state level examination, conducted once a year for  admission into B. Pharm, MBA, B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Tech (Exe) programs  offered by various private universities, government colleges, and self-financed institutes in Odisha.
GATE 2023: Registration process to begin from August 30, check out details here

The GATE 2023 will be held on February 4, 5, 11 and 12 by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. Candidates will have access to download the GATE 2023 admit card from January 3. The students will have to download admit cards using their roll number, date of birth. The exam will take place in a computer-based test (CBT) in 29 subject areas. For further details candidates should visit the official website - gate.iitk.ac.in.
No provision to accommodate medical students from foreign institutes: Centre

"There are no such provisions in Indian Medical Council Act 1956 & National Medical Commission Act, 2019 as well as the regulations to accommodate or transfer medical students from any foreign medical institutes to Indian medical colleges," Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare Bharti Pravin Pawar told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply to a question of the delay in accommodating those medical students. Pawar also said that the permission has not been given by the NMC to transfer or accommodate any foreign medical students in any Indian medical institute or university.
6.8L students to appear for 2nd phase CUET-UG exam on Aug 4

The first phase of the exam has been conducted for which nearly 8,10,000 candidates appeared on July 15. After the completion of the first phase of the exam, the second phase will be held on August 4 in which nearly 6,80,000 candidates will write the exam. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains examination is currently being conducted between the first and second phases of the CUET. To ensure that the dates of the JEE Mains examination and CUET do not coincide, hence the latter is not being conducted at present.

Class 10th and 12th students can apply for revaluation  till 11:59 pm on July 28, 2022. Students will be charged Rs. 500 per subject. From August 8 till 11:59 pm of August 9, students will get the time to apply for obtaining a photocopy of answer sheets and they will be charged Rs 500 per answer sheet. The CBSE board released the final results for 10th and 12th exams on July 22.
