CUET-UG: Exam starts Friday, over 8L appearing in first slot
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), students have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects under the new education policy. Significantly, under the new education policy, students have been given more freedom to choose the subjects of their choice. Due to this, unique combinations of different subjects have been created.

NEET UG 2022: NTA releases admit card, Check out details here
The candidates can download their NEET UG 2022 hall ticket from the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG 2022 exam is scheduled to take place on July 17 between 2 pm and 5:30 pm, in
an offline pen and paper-based mode. The City intimation slip was released by NTA on June 28, 2022. The exam will be conducted at different centres located in 546 cities across the country and 14 cities outside India.

To download their admit card, the candidates are required to sign in and enter their application number and date of birth. The exam is scheduled to take place from July 15 to August 20 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The entrance exam will be held in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Other than these, there are 19 other languages which can be opted if the candidate desires to get enrolled in an UG degree in languages.

"The Vice-Chancellor, JMI (Najma Akhtar), on the recommendation of the Dean of Faculties has approved to reopen the university in offline mode from July 16, 2022, for all classes except 1st semester/Year, '' the notification read. JMI has advised all deans of faculties to complete renovation, maintenance, and repair works of classrooms and laboratories prior the commencement of classes. However, the university already resumed offline classes for final year PG and undergraduate UG students in the month of March this year.

The exam is held for admission into undergraduate engineering programmes like - BE/B.Tech — at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and certain institutions or universities recognised by some state governments. When a candidate qualifies for JEE Mains, she/he is eligible to sit for JEE (Advanced), gateway entrance test for admission to the IITs. The number of attempts for JEE Main were increased from 1 to 2 in 2019. In 2021, it was further increased to 4 due to the disruptions caused by the pandemic.

According to NTA, "the candidates who have applied and successfully paid the Examination Fee for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 and want to appear for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 2, are required to log in with their previous Application Number and Password as provided in Session 1. They may only choose the Paper, Medium of the Examination, and cities for Session 2 and pay the Examination Fees." Earlier the last date to apply for session 2(July Session) was June 30.

The pass percentage this year is 97.94 per cent. Candidates can check their respective results at the official website of PSEB- pseb.ac.in, on Wednesday, once the Punjab Board class 10 result link will be activated. Around 3.25 lakh students appeared for their class 10 exams. This year the pass percentage remained 97.94%. Interestingly, all the top three positions are bagged by girls this year- 1st Topper: Nancy Rani (Firozpur) ; 2nd topper: Dilpreet Kaur and 3rd topper: Komalpreet (Sangrur).

The Institute has already issued the NEST 2022 answer key on the official website. The candidates are required to have their roll number and application number ready with them to check their respective scores. The NEST 2022 exam was conducted on June 18, 2022 in an online mode. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling round.
