Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the seventh edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022. The rankings aim to rank the top universities, colleges, and other educational institutions of the country. The NIRF Rankings 2022 has been announced for a total of 11 categories including overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, dental, law, architecture, and research institutions. Talking about the architecture category, the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has been named the best college in the country for architecture. IIT Roorkee is further followed by the National Institute of Technology, Calicut as 2nd best college in India and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur as the third best in the country for architecture.
