The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 on Friday. The list is available at the official website – nirfindia.org. NIRF rankings 2022 has been announced for a total of 11 categories. This includes overall, university, management, college, pharmacy, medical, engineering, architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), law and research institutions. This year too IIT Madras retained its 1st position in both, the overall and engineering categories. Meanwhile, Jamia Hamdard has once again taken the top rank in the pharmacy category followed by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad at second place. Here is the complete list of top 10 pharmacy colleges in our country, as per the NIRF ratings of 2022.

2. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad
3. Panjab University, Chandigarh
4. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali
5. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
6. JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty
7. Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai
8. JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore
9. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal
10. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmedabad
Jamia Hamdard has been ranked at the top place for the third consecutive year. Earlier, in 2020 and 2021 it secured the first ranking among all other pharmacy colleges in the country.
