NEET Super Speciality Counselling 2021: MCC pauses choice filling process

MCC issued a notice on April 4 that stated, "Hence the choice filling for Super Specialty will be paused for some time so that these colleges/institutes may add these seats to the seat matrix,". It further added, "As soon as the addition of the fresh seats by the colleges/institutes is complete the choice filling shall be resumed and will be notified by way of notice."

The process of choice filling for the NEET Super Speciality counselling by MCC has been paused. The process was scheduled to be held between April 2 to April 5. The delay in the process as notified by MCC is due to the addition of a few more super speciality seats which were missed earlier for NEET SS 2021.

The issue came to light after the FORDA(Federation of Resident Doctors Association) and FAIMA(Federation of All India Medical Association) addressed the situation and wrote a letter to the DGHS which stated that the seat matrix was published for NEET-SS counseling 2021 (Round 1) was "incomplete".
