Elon Musk will become trillionaire through SpaceX: Report

His space exploration company SpaceX is valued at $100 billion dollars, as second-round fundings, earlier this month showed. However, Musk is calculated to own about half of SpaceX, so the rocket company still has ways to go before it can single-handedly lift its founder into four-commas orbit.

After becoming the world’s richest person, Tesla CEO Elon Musk will become a trillionaire through his famous aeronautics company SpaceX, according to a Morgan Stanley analyst.

His space exploration company SpaceX is valued at $100 billion dollars, as second-round fundings, earlier this month showed. However, Musk is calculated to own about half of SpaceX, so the rocket company still has ways to go before it can single-handedly lift its founder into four-commas orbit.

The SpaceX Mars programme was initiated by Musk to colonise Mars after he first conceptualised the project back in 2001. SpaceX's aspirational goal has been to land the first humans on Mars by 2024, but in October 2020 Musk named 2024 as the goal for an uncrewed mission.

Last month, Musk became the richest person in the world after crossing the $200 billion mark for the first time ever due to a surge in Tesla stocks. Musk became the third ever person on the planet to cross the $200 billion mark after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Chief Executive of LVMH Bernard Arnault.

Morgan Stanley's Adam Jonas on Tuesday shared a note titled, "SpaceX Escape Velocity ... Who Can Catch Them?”, saying “the private space-exploration company is challenging any preconceived notion of what was possible and the time frame possible, in terms of rockets, launch vehicles and supporting infrastructure.”

Both Musk and Bezos now are now competing in the race of space exploration, as SpaceX recently launched civilians into space, which was both historic and one of a kind as of yet. Last month, tensions spilt over into a lawsuit by Blue Origin against the federal government to dispute a $2.9 billion NASA contract that was awarded to SpaceX.

According to The Star, Musk's wealth has swollen to an astonishing $230 billion earlier this month. Or a whopping 861 billion Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency backed by the entrepreneur after he was reported to have invested millions.

CEO investments, the creators of Dogecoin, also responded backing Musk's plans every step of the way.
