Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have implemented a price hike for commercial LPG cylinders nationwide, raising the rates by Rs 21 starting from Friday.
In Delhi, the cost of a 19 kg LPG cylinder has surged to Rs 1,796.50, while in Kolkata, it stands at Rs 1,908. Mumbai and Chennai report prices of Rs 1,749 and Rs 1,968, respectively, for the same 19 kg LPG cylinder.
It's noteworthy that while the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have undergone an increase, the rates for domestic LPG, primarily used for cooking in households, have remained unchanged.
Conversely, oil marketing companies have opted to reduce the price of jet fuel by 4.6 percent during this period.
