On Wednesday, the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) announced another price hike for commercial LPG cylinders, marking the second increase in just a month. The revised rates came into effect on November 1.
According to the latest adjustments, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has risen to Rs 1,833, up from the previous Rs 1,731. This recent hike follows a Rs 209 increase per cylinder on October 1.
In other major cities, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders are as follows:
Mumbai: Rs 1,785.50
Kolkata: Rs 1,943
Chennai: Rs 1,999.50
The price increase has been implemented by state-run oil marketing companies, including the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation.
It's important to note that while the cost of commercial LPG cylinders has seen these increments, the pricing for domestic LPG cylinders, typically used for household cooking, remains unchanged at this time.
