Air India Express Set to Launch Flights from Ayodhya Airport Starting December 30th

Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, expressed excitement about launching operations from Ayodhya immediately after the airport opens.

Air India Express has announced the commencement of services from the Ayodhya International Airport starting December 30, 2023. The inaugural flight, IX 2789, is scheduled to depart from Delhi at 11 a.m. and land in Ayodhya at 12:20 p.m. The return flight, IX 1769, will depart from Ayodhya at 12:50 p.m. and arrive in Delhi at 2:10 p.m.

He emphasized the airline's commitment to enhancing connectivity from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the country, highlighting Ayodhya's anticipated growth as a significant destination for pilgrims and travelers. Air India Express aims to contribute to Ayodhya's growth story and is enthusiastic about connecting the city to various domestic and international destinations.

In addition to the Delhi-Ayodhya route, Air India Express will offer convenient one-stop itineraries connecting Ayodhya to destinations like Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Kochi, Guwahati, Goa, Gwalior, Jaipur, Pune, Surat, Srinagar, and Sharjah. This move aligns with the airline's strategy to provide accessible connectivity and enhance air travel options for passengers in smaller cities across India.
