Musk calls for deletion of Biden's infrastructure bill | Key Points

1. The Tesla CEO said that the US has already spent too much money and the current condition of the country's federal budget deficit is insane. He also recommended that the country should reconsider passing the whole (infrastructure) bill. "Just delete them all," the CEO added.

2.  Elon Musk  further said that Tesla has sold electric cars in the US for more than a year without the $7,500 federal tax credit and without taking a demand hit. In addition to this, he also said that the government should not be giving out subsidies to expand EV charging infrastructure either. "Do we need support for gas stations? We don't. So there's no need for this," Musk said.

3. President Biden signed a bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure bill in November. The bill includes $550 billion in new spending on infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, passenger rails, drinking water, and wastewater systems. The rest of the infrastructure package involves previously approved spending.
