A new round of negotiations between US and Ukrainian delegations ended in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, according to local media source Al Arabiya News.
The negotiations came after a 12-hour-long session on Monday in Riyadh between Russian and US officials, Xinhua news agency reported.
On Tuesday, the White House made a statement summarizing the main results of the two rounds of talks with Ukraine, conducted on Sunday and Tuesday.
According to the statement, the US and Ukraine have agreed to guarantee safe navigation in the Black Sea, ban the use of force, and not allow commercial ships to be redirected for military purposes.
In addition, the US reiterated its support for the exchange of war prisoners, the release of civilian detainees, and efforts towards the repatriation of Ukrainian children who were forcibly taken away.
The two countries also agreed to take steps to implement the agreement between their presidents, which prohibits attacks on energy infrastructure in Russia and Ukraine.
A common aspiration for creating a durable and enduring peace was also underscored, with the declaration urging an immediate end to fighting as a significant step toward an enduring solution.
The US also thanked Saudi Arabia for hosting and facilitating the talks.
Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov separately used social media platform X on Tuesday to emphasize main points of the latest talks with Washington.
He warned that, in accordance with the agreement made with the US, any passage of Russian warships beyond the eastern Black Sea would be deemed a breach of safe navigation assurances and a clear danger to the national security of Ukraine. In these situations, Ukraine would exercise its right of self-defense.
In addition to the points listed in the White House announcement, Umerov said all parties also encouraged mediation attempts by third nations in helping facilitate the implementation of energy and maritime accords that were discussed in negotiations.
The minister added the requirement for further technical consultations in order to enable effective implementation of the agreements.
