Trump Warns Iran: U.S. Military Will Unleash ‘Full Strength and Might’ if Attacked

Making it clear that the United States was not involved in the recent attacks on Iranian soil, Trump warned that any aggression against American interests would unleash an unprecedented level of military retaliation.

As a third day of intensified hostilities between Iran and Israel unfolded, the former U.S. President Donald Trump made a dire warning to Tehran on Sunday.

Making it clear that the United States was not involved in the recent attacks on Iranian soil, Trump warned that any aggression against American interests would unleash an unprecedented level of military retaliation.

Posting on his platform Truth Social, Trump wrote, "The US was not involved in the attack on Iran, tonight. But if we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full fury and power of the US Armed Forces will be unleashed upon you at levels never seen before. But we can very easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and stop this senseless bloodshed!!!"

The area is still in a state of tension after a series of fierce retaliatory attacks between Tel Aviv and Tehran. On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed a massive offensive on Iranian military targets. Some of the sites most important in the attack included the Iranian Ministry of Defence headquarters and the SPND building, a leading nuclear research center. The operation was said also to target a site containing thought-sensitive nuclear archives.

As a counter, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out attacks that targeted Israeli strategic energy installations, such as jet fuel plants. Mass air raid warnings were sounded in several Israeli cities, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, highlighting the severity of the retaliatory action.

These events follow Israel's initiation of Operation "Rising Lion" last Friday, targeting specifically Iranian nuclear and military facilities. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu justified the military action, describing it as an imperative measure to "roll back the Iranian threat to Israel's very survival." He also stressed, "This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat."

In the midst of the unstable standoff, Trump reaffirmed his appeal to diplomacy and called on Iran to consider making a deal so as not to further escalate the situation. "Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left," he cautioned, highlighting his trust in diplomacy's feasibility amid escalating tensions.
