Across six critical battlegrounds including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina, Trump maintains a lead ranging between two to eight percentage points. However, Biden manages to secure a three-point advantage over Trump in Wisconsin.

In each state surveyed, negative appraisals of the president's job performance substantially outweigh positive sentiments by a margin of 16 percentage points or more. This disparity widens to over 20 points in four states. Conversely, Trump receives predominantly unfavorable reviews for his tenure in the White House in just one state — Arizona — where negative assessments slightly outweigh positive ones by 1 percentage point, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

"Biden and Trump clinched their respective party nominations with relative ease last month, yet both contenders anticipate a protracted and challenging campaign as they square off in a rematch of the 2020 showdown. In what is expected to be an intensely contested race, the outcome hinges on a handful of pivotal battleground states," The Hill newspaper remarked on Wednesday.
