The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the unfortunate loss of three soldiers in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total casualties to 161 since the commencement of the ground offensive in October.
The soldiers who lost their lives are Maor Lavi (33), Shay Shamriz (26), and Shaul Greenglick (26). Lavi was killed in central Gaza, while Shamriz and Greenglick lost their lives in the northern part of the Strip.
During the battle in the northern Gaza Strip, an officer and two soldiers sustained serious injuries, while another soldier was seriously wounded in the same conflict. Additionally, a soldier suffered serious injuries in northern Gaza.
The ongoing intense conflict in Gaza has resulted in a tragic toll on the Palestinian side, with over 20,000 fatalities, including women and children. The IDF is actively engaged in dismantling major Hamas military structures in the northern Gaza Strip, contributing to escalating tensions in central and southern Gaza.
