Tragedy Strikes: 19 Lives Lost During Eid Celebrations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

During the initial two days of Eid celebrations, a total of 19 lives were tragically lost across various incidents in the picturesque landscapes of northwestern Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as disclosed by a rescue official on Saturday.

In response to the emergencies, 1,499 individuals received immediate medical assistance, with many being promptly transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Among the distressing incidents, a particularly heart-wrenching occurrence unfolded as 15 individuals lost their lives in an Eid celebration turned tragic when their boat capsized in the Indus River within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday. Despite rescue efforts, the authorities managed to save 11 individuals, while the search for the remaining three individuals is ongoing.
