The Russian Investigative Committee announced that it has uncovered links between the perpetrators of the Crocus City Hall attack in suburban Moscow and individuals associated with "Ukrainian nationalists." In a statement released via Telegram and reported by Xinhua news agency on Thursday, the committee revealed that through the interrogation of detained terrorists and examination of seized technical equipment, as well as analysis of financial transactions, compelling evidence emerged linking the attackers to Ukrainian nationalist groups.
According to the committee, investigations have revealed that the terrorists received substantial sums of money and cryptocurrency from Ukraine, which were utilized in the planning and execution of the violent act. Furthermore, the committee disclosed that another individual implicated in a terrorist financing network has been apprehended and is currently in custody.
