Krasnodar region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported that the drone strike—reportedly carried out by Ukrainian forces late Friday night—also destroyed three grain storage tanks and injured five individuals, two of whom are children.

Waste from the drone attack is said to have fallen in Taman, also in Yurovka and Tsibanobalka in the vicinity of Anapa, causing damage to private property but no deaths.

State Duma member Sergey Altukhov, who represents the region, denounced the attack as a turning away from military targets towards civilian targets, calling on Ukraine to become involved in "outright terrorism." He highlighted Novorossiysk's vital status as a transport and logistics center and voiced alarm at mounting threats to civilians.

In the meantime, Kremlin strategist Nikolay Patrushev, who also chairs Russia's Maritime Board, was attributing instability in the Black Sea region to Ukrainian military efforts. He advocated for cooperation over maritime security while criticizing Kyiv's purported incapacity to observe diplomatic commitments.
