Psychologists Warn of Donald Trump's ‘Worsening’ Health, Point to Signs of Serious Brain Disorder

Clinical psychologists Dr. Harry Segal and Dr. John Gartner raised concerns regarding Trump's psychomotor function, indicating that the 79-year-old is exhibiting stark signs of dementia.

Two psychologists have warned that Donald Trump is displaying a "dead ringer telltale sign" of a bizarre brain disorder, with an ominous warning that the condition seems to be aggravating with time.

Clinical psychologists Dr. Harry Segal and Dr. John Gartner raised concerns regarding Trump's psychomotor function, indicating that the 79-year-old is exhibiting stark signs of dementia.

On a recent episode of their Shrinking Trump show, Dr. Gartner said, "Some of the more evidence that we've been discussing lately has been his psychomotor performance, that we're observing a decline in his motor performance, which also accompanies dementia because with dementia there is a decline in all faculties, all functions."

The worries come as Trump is said to "frantically" try to conceal the back of his hand while increasing questions mark his health.

Dr. Gartner said that people first notice concerns in one's public behavior, language, and verbal functioning. "His motor capacity is now declining," he continued, per the Mirror.

Gartner also speculated that Trump might have more than one form of dementia, since the former President recently showed a "telltale sign" of frontotemporal dementia.

Frontotemporal dementia is a rather rare type of the disorder that mostly influences behavior and speech. Similar to other dementias, it affects the front and sides of the brain and usually gets worse over a course of a few years.

One of the things that one of the neuropsychologists that we were working with last year mentioned that is just about a dead ringer telltale sign of frontotemporal dementia is something that they refer to as a wide-based gait, where you have sort of one of your limbs, one of your legs, kind of swing it in a semicircle," Dr. Gartner clarified.

The psychologists referred to Trump's recent Alaska summit with Vladimir Putin, playing video clips in which he was seen to have difficulty walking in a straight line down the red carpet.

Dr. Gartner said that Trump was "weaving all along the carpet" and that the swing of the right foot forces him to the left. "So, as it's swinging, he's veering left and then he overcorrects and goes to the other side of the carpet and then it happens again.

He continued, "I mean, if they pulled you over for a DUI and you tightrope that line, you know, you would fail," while pausing to refer to a fast-forwarded clip of Trump walking down the carpet.

Dr. Segal also commented on the other odd gait. "It's very strange, isn't it?" he noted, explaining that Trump does not seem to be drunk, but is instead pacing back and forth because he has lost control of one leg.

In spite of growing questions about his health, Trump has persisted in drawing attention to his mental acuity.

He bragged about scoring the "highest mark" on his cognitive test at his yearly April medical, although Drs. Segal and Gartner have earlier pointed out that getting a high score on the test is actually easy.
