Pakistan says they have 'irrefutable evidence' that India was involved in recent targeted killings

Chaudhary addressed the media at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, stating, "India's pattern of killings has now extended beyond its borders. From the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in another nation, India's fingerprints have been found in various killings within Pakistan."

Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, the Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), asserted on Tuesday that Pakistan possesses undeniable evidence indicating India's involvement in recent targeted killings within the country.

Highlighting Pakistan's possession of concrete evidence linking India to these incidents, he emphasized, "We have irrefutable proof of India's role in these killings."

The Major General highlighted Pakistani intelligence agencies' awareness of India's strategies aimed at diverting attention from its internal issues through border aggression and fostering an "anti-Pakistan" narrative during elections.

"We are fully prepared for India's attempts to escalate tensions along the Line of Control (LoC) and distract from its domestic challenges by portraying Pakistan negatively during elections," Chaudhary affirmed.

He disclosed that India had committed approximately 120 speculative, 15 airspace, and 59 technical violations along the LoC in 2024 thus far.

Chaudhary also criticized India's electoral tactics in Jammu and Kashmir, alleging that the staggered polling schedule aimed to stifle Kashmiri voices and manipulate election outcomes.

Regarding the security situation in Afghanistan, the DG ISPR accused the Afghan Taliban-led government of enabling over 90% of terror attacks in Pakistan.

"Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) receives support and shelter from Afghanistan, where Afghan nationals perpetrate terror activities in Pakistan," Chaudhary stated, citing instances of Afghan involvement in attacks on Chinese engineers and Balochistan.

He further implicated Afghan nationals and elements of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in attacks on Gwadar and other Balochistan regions, emphasizing Afghanistan's role in supporting these groups.

Responding to threats against the military establishment by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chaudhary asserted that dialogue with groups or individuals posing threats to national security was out of the question.

When questioned about alleged backdoor negotiations between the military establishment and Imran Khan's PTI, Chaudhary insisted, "The perpetrators of the May 9 riots and attacks on military installations must apologize. However, political engagements are preferable when conducted through legitimate political channels."
