Expressing deep concern, the Pakistan Foreign Office condemned the strikes as an unprovoked breach of Pakistan's sovereignty. Such actions, it stated, not only violate international law but also contravene the principles outlined in the Charter of the United Nations.

In response to Tehran's unprecedented missile and drone strikes, Pakistan has taken swift and resolute measures. On Wednesday, Pakistan recalled its ambassador to Iran and suspended all scheduled high-level bilateral visits. The strikes targeted purported terrorist bases of the Balochi militant group Jaish al-Adl in the restive Balochistan province, as reported by Iranian state media. These actions occurred a day after Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards carried out missile attacks on targets in Iraq and Syria.

Expressing deep concern, the Pakistan Foreign Office condemned the strikes as an unprovoked breach of Pakistan's sovereignty. Such actions, it stated, not only violate international law but also contravene the principles outlined in the Charter of the United Nations. Emphasizing Pakistan's right to respond to this breach of sovereignty, the Foreign Office conveyed a strong message to the Iranian Government. It made it clear that the responsibility for the consequences of this illegal act squarely rests with Iran.

As part of its response, Pakistan has decided to recall its ambassador from Iran. Simultaneously, the return of the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, currently in Iran, has been temporarily suspended. Furthermore, all high-level visits between Pakistan and Iran, whether ongoing or planned in the coming days, have been put on hold. These decisive actions underscore Pakistan's commitment to upholding its sovereignty and sending a clear message regarding the gravity of the situation to its Iranian counterparts.
