CEC Rajiv Kumar invited as International Observer in Nepal polls
Stage is set for the Federal and Provincial elections to elect 275 members of the Federal Parliament and 550 seats of the seven Provincial Assemblies in Nepal. Rajiv Kumar will be leading a delegation of ECI officials as state guests in the neighbouring nation from November 18 to November 22. During his visit, Kumar would be visiting Polling stations at Kathmandu and areas around.

Poland probably hit by Ukrainian missile: NATO chief

US Senate advances same-sex marriage bill
Senators on Wednesday voted 62-37 to advance the measure, with a dozen Republicans joining with all Democrats in the chamber to support it, Xinhua news agency reported. They are expected to vote again on Thursday to invoke cloture, potentially setting up a final vote by the end of the week. The Respect for Marriage Act was introduced this summer after a conservative Supreme Court justice signaled rulings on marriage equality and contraception should be reconsidered.
