Pak court to indict Imran Khan in Toshakhana reference case

US plans to end COVID emergency declarations in May

The COVID-19 national emergency and PHE were declared by the Trump Administration in 2020. They are currently set to expire on March 1 and April 11, respectively. The Biden Administration's plan is to extend the emergency declarations to May 11, and then end both emergencies on that date, according to a statement of the White House, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Two of the wounded in the incident on Monday are critical, CNN reported quoting Lakeland police. A dark-blue Nissan four-door sedan slowed and its windowpanes were downed after which firing from all four windows started shooting males on both sides, Lakeland Police Department Chief Sam Taylor said.
Death toll in suicide bombing in Pakistan mosque reaches 72

The explosion occurred in the central hall of the mosque leading to roof of the place of worship crashing down when devotees were offering prayers on Monday, Geo News quoted police as saying. The suicide bomber who blew himself up was present in the first row, police said.
