NASA set to launch Boeing Starliner cargo spacecraft to ISS

OFT-2 is the second uncrewed flight for Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as part of the US space agency's Commercial Crew Programme. The mission is targeted to launch at 1.20 p.m. EDT on August 3, NASA said in a statement. Starliner will launch on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
UN mission in Afghanistan calls for probe into attack on compound

As the Taliban engaged in fierce clashes with Afghan security forces in Herat on July 30, the UN's main compound in the city came under attack by rocket-propelled grenades and gunfire, according to the UNAMA. "So-called 'anti-Government elements' targeted entrances of the clearly marked UN facility with rocket-propelled grenades and gunfire just hours after Taliban fighters penetrated Herat city and clashed with Afghan security forces near UNAMA's provincial headquarters," the mission added.
