US delivers written letter to Russia addressing Moscow's concerns: Blinken

Blinken told a press conference that the letter, which was delivered to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the US ambassador to Russia, "sets out a serious diplomatic path forward should Russia choose it", Xinhua news agency reported. The letter, Blinken said, was in response to Russia recently outlining "its concerns and proposals in writing" to the US.

The TTP, also known as the Pakistani Taliban, has intensified its attacks in Pakistan since a month-long ceasefire expired and peace talks collapsed in December last. The Pakistani delegation held several days of talks with TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud and members of the extremist group's leadership council in Afghanistan's southeastern province of Paktika, said sources with knowledge of the discussions, the report said.
Biden warns Putin of 'personal sanctions' if Ukraine is invaded

A report by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) in Islamabad said the offences against religious places and holy scripts of non-Muslims were reported by Ahmadi, Christian, Hindu, and Sikh communities. While the minority communities show their tolerance in dealing with the cases wherein their religion is defiled by the majority community, a similar offence by minority community finds no tolerance from the majority community, the report said.
Pak study blames polluted air from India for toxic smog in Lahore

A joint investigation report of Bahauddin Zakariya University and NUST University has said that the polluted air coming from India formed the toxic smog in Lahore, Samaa TV reported. The report said the city's air was not clean for a single day in 2020, therefore the number of asthma and heart patients has increased. Pakistan has taken up the matter with India but did not get a response and without some intervention from across the border, the problem cannot be tackled, the report said.
