In the midst of the ongoing conflict, at least two Israeli soldiers lost their lives on Monday, according to the Israeli military, bringing the total death toll of Israeli soldiers to 156 since the outbreak of the hostilities.

The conflict began in response to Hamas' surprise attack on October 7, resulting in about 1,200 Israeli casualties and 240 hostages. Consequently, large parts of Gaza have been devastated, leading to the displacement of most of its 2.3 million population.
