‘Netanyahu must answers’: Forum March for Hostages and Missing Families

Expressing dissatisfaction with the Israeli government's handling of the missing persons case after the October 7 attack, the forum specifically calls on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address their demands for a deal with Hamas to secure the release of hostages held in Gaza.

The Hostages And Missing Families Forum initiated its march from Tel Aviv on Tuesday, with plans to conclude at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem by Saturday.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the Israeli government's handling of the missing persons case after the October 7 attack, the forum specifically calls on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address their demands for a deal with Hamas to secure the release of hostages held in Gaza.

The forum is seeking a meeting with the war cabinet to understand the terms they have proposed for negotiating a deal with Hamas regarding the hostages' release.

The march route includes several stations such as Be'er Yaakov, Beit Hashmonai, Latrun Junction, and Kiryat Anavim, where a celebratory Shabbat meal is scheduled with all participating families.

The conclusion of the march on Saturday will take place at the Prime Minister's office, followed by a central rally in the Rose Garden, where all families will gather.

The forum has issued a call to Israeli citizens, the war cabinet, and city leaders to join the march in support of their demands.

Yuval Heran, brother of Adi Shoham, who was among those kidnapped, emphasized the pain and uncertainty his family is experiencing, urging everyone, including Knesset members, ministers, city leaders, and citizens, to join them in Jerusalem.

Shelly Shem Tov, mother of Omer Shem Tov, shared her anguish over her son's 39-day captivity in Hamas. She pleaded for answers from Netanyahu and the cabinet, emphasizing the families' exhaustion and the urgent need for their children's return.

Dan Miran, father of Omri Miran, criticized the lack of government and Knesset support for families of missing persons, demanding the cabinet's direct communication and information about his son's situation.

Yaela David, sister of Evyatar David, highlighted the families' desperation for answers, stressing that this is not just a war involving IDF soldiers but a collective struggle for all Israelis.

Danny Elgart, brother of Itzik Elgart, called for an end to psychological torture and demanded clear answers from Netanyahu regarding the government's stance and actions.

Meirav Leshem Gonen, mother of Romi Gonen, expressed frustration over the lack of government responses in the 39 days since the hostages were taken, urging a prompt resolution for all affected families.
