According to statements from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the discussion between the two leaders lasted approximately fifty minutes.
The strain between Israel and Russia has been further highlighted by recent events at the UN Security Council meeting in New York. Russia supported a resolution advocating for a ceasefire and peace in Gaza during the session. In contrast, the United States vetoed the resolution, and the United Kingdom chose to abstain from voting. This divergence of stances among key nations reflects the complex dynamics surrounding the Israel-Hamas conflict on the international stage.
