It's worth noting that Israel has asserted that it will only release women and children from its prisons, with no individuals accused of murder included in the list of those to be released.

As part of the agreement, Hamas is expected to release 50 hostages abducted from Southern Israel on October 7, while Israel will release 300 Palestinians currently held in Israeli prisons.

During his visit to Qatar, Barnea is anticipated to push for the release of more hostages kidnapped from Israel. Reports suggest that after Barnea's discussions in Qatar, Hamas is expected to release an additional 80 individuals in the next four days.

Qatar is playing a mediating role in facilitating the details of the deal between Hamas and Israel, acting on behalf of the US. The ongoing discussions involve navigating the complexities of the ceasefire and the release of hostages, reflecting diplomatic efforts to address the ongoing tensions in the region.
