Biden is expected to secure the Democratic nomination as the incumbent, facing competition from Marianne Williamson, renowned for her role as a spiritual leader of the Church of Today, Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, and Representative Dean Phillips of Minnesota.

However, Kamala Harris, despite her clear intention to run for a second term as Biden's running mate in 2024, has been hypothetically considered for the presidential role. Some Democrats have expressed reservations about Biden running for a second term. According to a CNN poll conducted from August 25 to August 31, two-thirds of Democrat-leaning voters are opposed to the idea of nominating Biden in 2024.
