Israel Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has expressed that the leadership hierarchy of Hamas is deteriorating, with top leaders becoming increasingly disconnected from lower-level members.
Specifically, he mentioned that Yahiya Sinwar, who was overseeing Gaza operations for Hamas, is isolated from the rest of the organization's leadership and lower-ranking members.
Earlier, Yoav Gallant publicly stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is determined to capture Gaza and eliminate Yahiya Sinwar, regardless of the cost.
He also noted that Sinwar is reportedly hiding in bunkers while lower-level commanders face the risk of casualties during the IDF's invasion.
Gallant highlighted the contrast between Sinwar's situation and that of Israel's top military commanders, who are actively engaged in the field.
Additionally, there were reports from IANS that Hamas political leader Ismael Haniyeh was relocating to Tehran, Iran, from Doha, where he had been residing with his family.
It should be noted that the IDF had previously claimed to have targeted Haniyeh's Gaza residence, but he was no longer living there at the time of the attack.
