The Syrian army confirmed the strike, stating it originated from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, causing casualties, complete destruction of the targeted building, and damage to nearby structures.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed six deaths, including one Syrian civilian, three IRGC members, and two individuals of unknown nationality. The attack is speculated to be in response to the IRGC's recent activities, including an assault on an intelligence base in Erbil, Iraq.
