Palestinian Death Toll in Gaza Climbs to 23,708

Since the commencement of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7, a staggering 60,005 Palestinians have been wounded due to Israeli attacks.

The Gaza-based Health Ministry reported an alarming rise in the Palestinian death toll from the continuous Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, reaching a grim total of 23,708 casualties. In the last 24 hours alone, the Israeli army was responsible for the deaths of 151 Palestinians and injuries to 248 others, as per a press statement released on Friday.

Since the commencement of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7, a staggering 60,005 Palestinians have been wounded due to Israeli attacks. Tragically, many victims remain trapped under the debris, and rescue teams face challenges reaching them.

Eyewitnesses and local sources informed Xinhua that Israeli aircraft targeted a residential house near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip's Deir Al-Balah, resulting in the death of 11 people and severe injuries to several others.

Simultaneously, armed clashes persisted in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip and the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The situation remains dire, with the conflict showing no signs of abating.
