IDF Confirms Loss of Three Soldiers in Ongoing Battle Against Hamas

The fallen soldiers were identified as Sgt Major Neriya Shaer (36) from the Paratroopers brigade, Sgt First class (res) Ben Zussman (22), and Sgt Binyamin Yehoshua Needham (19), all serving as combat engineering soldiers in the 401st Armoured brigade.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the loss of three more soldiers during the ongoing conflict with Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.

The fallen soldiers were identified as Sgt Major Neriya Shaer (36) from the Paratroopers brigade, Sgt First class (res) Ben Zussman (22), and Sgt Binyamin Yehoshua Needham (19), all serving as combat engineering soldiers in the 401st Armoured brigade.

This tragic incident occurred on Sunday, just two days after Israel resumed its offensive in Gaza following the breakdown of a seven-day humanitarian truce in the Hamas-controlled enclave.

Since the commencement of ground operations on October 27, a total of 75 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives in Gaza. Over the course of the entire war starting on October 7, the IDF has reported the deaths of 401 soldiers, with a significant number succumbing on the day of Hamas's unprecedented assault.
