Indian Navy Thwarts Somali Pirate Hijacking Efforts

Indian Navy authorities announced on Saturday that they successfully thwarted a hijacking attempt by Somali pirates in the waters off the eastern coast of Somalia. According to reports, the pirates had embarked on their mission aboard a vessel that had been seized approximately three months earlier.
