Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Indicted in Corruption Case by Pakistan Court

An accountability court in Pakistan took a significant step on Tuesday by indicting former Prime Minister and jailed PTI founder Imran Khan, along with his wife Bushra Bibi, in a corruption case involving Rs 50 million. Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana framed charges against both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, asking them to plead guilty or not guilty. Both denied the charges. The court has adjourned the matter until March 6 for further proceedings.

Imran Khan stands as the primary accused, while his wife Bushra Bibi, former accountability czar Shahzad Akbar, former aide to the premier Zulfiqar Bukhari, Zia Mustafa, and Farah Shazadi, also known as Farah Gogi, are named as co-accused in the case, as per The Express Tribune.
