In the midst of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported a grim milestone on Sunday, revealing that the death toll in the besieged enclave has now surpassed 25,000.
Over the past 24 hours alone, 178 Palestinians lost their lives, while 293 others sustained injuries, as stated by the ministry in a recent announcement reported by Xinhua news agency.
Since the eruption of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7, 2023, the toll has reached a staggering 25,105 fatalities, with 62,681 individuals having suffered injuries, according to the ministry's update.
The situation remains deeply concerning as both sides continue to grapple with the devastating consequences of the ongoing hostilities.
