Al-Qedra also highlighted the targeting of medical facilities in the southern city of Khan Younis, where the Nasser Medical Complex and Al-Amal Hospital affiliated with the Red Crescent Society have faced Israeli strikes. He urged international institutions to take urgent action to protect hospitals and ensure access for the wounded and sick to medical facilities.

By the end of 2023, an estimated 1.9 million people, nearly 85% of Gaza's total population, were internally displaced due to the ongoing conflict. Many families have been displaced multiple times, continually seeking safety.
