Dubai's Burj Khalifa lit up with Indian Tricolour to welcome PM Modi

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions with the UAE President, the iconic Burj Khalifa illuminated the night sky in the vibrant hues of the Indian tricolor. This symbolic gesture marked India's esteemed position as the guest of honor at this year's World Governments Summit held in Dubai.

The Burj Khalifa, standing tall as a beacon of modern architecture, proudly displayed the message "Guest of Honour – Republic of India" in anticipation of Prime Minister Modi's keynote address at the summit the following day.
 

Welcoming Modi with open arms, Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on X shared images of the illuminated Burj Khalifa adorned with the Indian flag's colors and the World Governments Summit logo, expressing warm regards to India as the distinguished guest of honor.

“We extend a warm welcome to the Republic of India, the guest of honour at this year’s World Governments Summit, and to His Excellency Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. The strong ties between our nations serve as a model for international cooperation,” the post read.
