World Government Summit: PM Modi Holds Bilateral Meetings With UAE Counterpart, Madagascar President

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a significant meeting with UAE counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Wednesday, emphasizing the need to bolster the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Their discussions spanned various sectors of cooperation, including trade, investment, technology, education, and fostering people-to-people ties. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) shared insights into the meeting via its official channels, highlighting the depth of collaboration between the two nations.

In a separate engagement, Prime Minister Modi met with Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina during the World Governments Summit in Dubai. This marked the first encounter between the leaders, where they underscored the historical ties and mutual friendship between India and Madagascar. Subsequently, he will proceed to Doha to engage with leadership in Qatar, continuing his two-day visit to the Gulf region.
