Biden Calls Out Trump for 'Hitler's language' in Newspaper Simulation

The video, shared on Trump's social media platform, Truth Social, and then taken down, included fake newspaper headlines of a Trump victory in the upcoming presidential race. There, Biden says, he spotted one headline suggesting a "unified Reich." The use of "Reich," so deeply a part of Germany's history and, more specifically, Hitler's reign, stirred up controversy and inappropriate language claims.

Following the use of what President Joe Biden called Nazi-like language in a video shared earlier in the day, President Joe Biden lashed out at his predecessor and likely election rival, Donald Trump. Right out of the gate, Biden condemned his words and drew comparisons with those used by Hitler, stating firmly, "That's not America's language."

While some have indicated that "Reich" might have innocently been used, perhaps to refer to the historical German Empire founded in 1871, the association with Hitler's regime was unmistakable. Reports say the video may have lifted content from a Wikipedia page on World War I, adding to speculation about the origins of the video.

Trump's team took down the offending clip from social media and called its posting an oversight from a staff member who didn't realize the loaded nature of the term. Biden didn't let the moment slip by and continued to call out Trump's demeanor, labeling him "unhinged" and warning of increasing dangers if he's elected to a second term.

Now, as November approaches, and both Donald Trump has rightfully received the Republican Party’s nomination and Joe Biden has been nominated by the Democrats, the two politicians seems to be engaged in active political jousting. At the same time, the current president “has often employed racially charged language and compared a range of opponents to the Gestapo in his quest for re-election”. It has only brightened the battle for the White House, as the direct rival politicians have also been tearing at each other over their ideologies.
