Benjamin Netanyahu Claims Palestinian Authority Aims to Dismantle Israel Gradually

As per reports from Hebrew media, Netanyahu articulated to the Knesset committee that the fundamental disparity between Hamas and the PA lies in their temporal approach to the destruction of Israel.

In a session with the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conveyed his assertion that the Palestinian Authority (PA) holds intentions to dismantle Israel incrementally.

As per reports from Hebrew media, Netanyahu articulated to the Knesset committee that the fundamental disparity between Hamas and the PA lies in their temporal approach to the destruction of Israel. He highlighted that while Hamas aims for an immediate obliteration of Israel, the PA pursues a strategy aiming to achieve this goal in gradual stages.

Netanyahu has consistently emphasized his stance regarding the PA's unsuitability in governing Gaza post-conflict. He has notably opposed the proposition from the United States advocating for the PA's administration of Gaza in the aftermath of the conflict. His repeated assertions underline his reservations about entrusting the PA with this responsibility given their alleged ambitions regarding Israel's destruction.
