Images surfaced on social media placing Jyoti Malhotra with the man who was captured on tape leaving a cake at the Pakistan High Commission minutes after the Pahalgam terror attack. Malhotra, an Indian YouTuber based in Haryana, was recently arrested for spying on behalf of Pakistan.

Footage also reveals Malhotra attending gatherings at the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi, with videos posted on her YouTube channel. Authorities claim she passed on confidential information and maintained frequent contact with a Pakistani individual.
 

A specific video on her channel, 'Travel with Jo,' depicts her in the company of a man who was subsequently captured carrying a cake outside the Pakistan High Commission mere two days after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

One X user, Being Political (@BeingPolitical1), posted a side-by-side comparison of these images, saying, "Do you remember this video? When one employee of Pakistan High Commission came with a cake the next day of Pahalgam attack. This same person who was seen with Pak spy Jyoti Malhotra."

Jyoti Malhotra, a 34-year-old YouTuber and travel blogger from Hisar, Haryana, whose channel "Travel with Jo" has a following, was arrested on May 16, 2025, for espionage on behalf of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

She is said to have conveyed sensitive details to Pakistani handlers through encrypted messenger services like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat. She has been charged under Sections 3 and 5 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923, and Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act.

As per a Hisar police spokesman, Malhotra uncovered in an interrogation that she was brought to know Ehsan-ur-Rahim, or Danish, by Harkirat Singh—a servant of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Kurukshetra—at the Pakistan High Commission while going to apply for a visa.
